Ayurvedic Initial Consultation - $250
An Ayurvedic Initial Consultation is a comprehensive & personalized assessment designed to address your individual health needs through the principles of Āyurveda.
The consultation begins with a detailed conversation about your health history, lifestyle, diet, and any specific concerns or symptoms you may have. This helps the practitioner understand your overall well-being and the context of your health issues. The practitioner will assess your unique constitution (dosha) — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — to determine your natural balance and any imbalances that might be affecting your health. This assessment may involve questions about your physical characteristics, mental state, and daily habits.
You’ll discuss the proposed treatment plan, which may involve a combination of herbal medicines, dietary modifications, lifestyle practices, and possibly Panchakarma therapies. The plan is designed to restore balance to your doshas and improve your overall health.

Shirodhara
Shirodhara is an Ayurvedic therapy that involves gently pouring warm oil over the forehead, specifically targeted at the "third eye" area (the space between the eyebrows). From a scientific perspective, several potential benefits and mechanisms of action have been suggested:
Relaxation Response: The warm oil and rhythmic pouring can induce a deep state of relaxation, which may help reduce stress and anxiety. This relaxation can lead to decreased levels of cortisol, the stress hormone.
Improved Circulation: The application of warm oil may enhance blood flow to the scalp and forehead, promoting better circulation and potentially improving nutrient delivery to the hair follicles and scalp skin.
Nervous System Regulation: Shirodhara is thought to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body's rest-and-digest functions. This can lead to a reduction in heart rate and blood pressure, contributing to overall relaxation.
Impact on Mental Clarity: Some studies suggest that Shirodhara may improve cognitive functions, including focus and clarity of thought, possibly due to enhanced blood flow and relaxation.
Pain Relief: The therapy may help alleviate tension headaches and migraines, as the soothing effect of the oil and the relaxation response can reduce muscle tension and stress.
Sleep Improvement: Regular sessions of Shirodhara may contribute to improved sleep quality by promoting relaxation and reducing anxiety, which are common contributors to sleep disturbances.

Marma Therapy - $150
Marma Therapy is an ancient Ayurvedic practice that involves the stimulation of specific points on the body known as "marmas." These points are believed to be vital energy centers where physical, mental, and emotional energies converge. The practice focuses on the manipulation of these points through massage, acupressure, or other therapeutic techniques.
Scientific Perspective on Benefits:

While this concept is rooted in traditional beliefs, practices like acupressure and acupuncture have shown that stimulating points can influence energy pathways, which might correlate with improved health and well-being.

Stress Reduction: Marma therapy promotes relaxation and can lower cortisol levels, leading to reduced stress and anxiety. The calming effects of massage and touch have been well-documented in scientific literature.
Improved Circulation: The gentle manipulation of marma points can enhance blood circulation, which is beneficial for overall health and healing.
Enhanced Detoxification: By stimulating these points, it is believed that toxins can be released from the body, supporting the detoxification processes.

Astrocartography - $175
Astrocartography, in the context of Vedic astrology, is a technique that involves mapping the positions of planets at the time of a person's birth onto a world map.
This method helps individuals understand how different geographical locations can influence their life experiences, opportunities, and challenges based on the astrological energies associated with those places.
In Vedic astrology, astrocartography is often used to determine:
Location-Based Influences: How specific locations may enhance or diminish certain aspects of a person's life, such as career, relationships, and health.
Relocation Astrology: Guidance on whether moving to a certain place would be beneficial or detrimental based on the planetary alignments and their effects in that region.
Personal Growth: Identifying places that can promote spiritual growth or personal development, based on the energies of the planets at play.

Prashna - $80
Prasna, also known as "Horary Astrology," is a branch of Vedic astrology that focuses on answering specific questions based on the time a question is posed. This method is particularly useful when the birth chart of an individual is not available or when immediate guidance is needed.
Key aspects of Prasna in Vedic astrology include:
Question-Based: The astrologer interprets the chart created for the exact time and place the question is asked, rather than a natal chart. This chart is known as the Prasna chart.
Significators: Each question has specific significators (planets) that relate to different aspects of life, such as career, relationships, and health. The astrologer analyzes these planets in the Prasna chart to provide insights.
Timing and Situations: Prasna can help determine the timing of events or the outcomes of specific situations, offering guidance on the best course of action.
Intuitive Insights: The practice often combines traditional astrological analysis with the astrologer's intuitive insights, making it a dynamic and flexible approach to answering questions.

Tithi Pravesha (Annual Birthday Reading): $190
(You have to have had an initial birthchart reading before scheduling this option).
In Vedic astrology, a Tithi Pravesha refers to the annual return of a person's birth Tithi (lunar day). It is considered an important event as it marks the individual's personal new year. The Tithi is calculated based on the lunar calendar and is associated with specific energies and influences that can affect a person's life during that year.
The Tithi Pravesha chart is created for the moment when the Moon returns to the same position it occupied at the time of a person's birth. This chart is then analyzed to understand the themes, challenges, and opportunities that may arise in the coming year. Astrologers may look at various planetary positions and aspects in this chart to provide insights into the individual's life, including career, relationships, and health.
Overall, Tithi Pravesha is used as a tool for forecasting and understanding the upcoming year based on lunar influences.
